13.04.2020: May event cancelled

Dear railway friends, ladies and gentlemen,

The Coronavirus pandemic is a stress test for all of us.

The situation demands a high degree of discipline, consideration and understanding from all of us.

We cannot forecast developments after April 20, 2020, or what measures will continue to be enforced or relaxed by the Federal Government and the Federal States.

We have decided to cancel the planned event on 01.05. - 03.05.2020.

We have already had to postpone the opening of our museum to an unknown time.

The decision to cancel has not been an easy one for us, as it means that budgeted income abd aid packages from the federal and state governments on which we, like many other associations that work on a voluntary basis and exclusively in our free time, are urgently dependent, are no longer available, but we have a responsibility towards our visitors, members and supporters.

We thank you for your understanding, wish you and your relatives all the best in these difficult times and look forward to seeing you again soon.
