05.03.2022: The season will start soon

As the start of the museum season is approaching the active members of the team worked hard again on Saturday to advance or complete the refurbishment of vehicles. Thus, the diesel locomotive 102 076 could be completed today. To crown the repainting, the locomotive plates were attached.


Further work was also done today on the ash box of steam locomotive 50 3570. New metal sheets were welded in. Unfortunately, the access is a bit difficult, as you can see in the following pictures. The colleagues had to climb through the narrow fire door into the firebox to reach the ash box from the inside.


Progress was also made on sidecar 197 805, where the interior lining was completed.

And since the weather was nice, some active people could take care of the vegetation in the area. Here some bushes were cut back, which limited the view into the track area.
