Carpenter's workshop

Here is a view of the depot's carpenter's workshop. A number of woodworking machines can be seen which are for cutting, trimming and finishing timber. This is where wooden fittings were made for the depot, as well as flooring and ceiling panelling for locomotives and where repairs were carried out. The machines are all in working order and today they are used for woodworking for the museum.
