This picture shows the part at the back of the museum's trackwork. The water tower can be seen on the right behind the birch trees; in the middle, the sanding plant can be seen and on the left there are further trees and bushes. That is where until the 1980s the main coal storage in the depot was located. It had a capacity of around 3,500 tonnes.
