13.06.2015: Tracklaying in Wittenberge locoshed

After we discovered that the wooden foundations of locomotive shed 16 road were no longer sustainable in the long term, we now have to renew them. The track and the longitudinal sleepers have been removed and new material is currently being installed so that the track can be used for the summer festival on July 4 and 5 2015 and to make room for further exhibits.

The pictures show the situation on 13.6.2015. The colleague is just fixing the rail with a machine screwdriver to the ribbed baseplates, which hold the rail on the wooden sleepers.
